Furthermore, Gurman claims that beta versions of iOS 16 (codenamed Sydney) contain multiple allusions to Apple's long-rumored VR headset, implying that a tech demo of the company's rOS operating system will be shown on stage at the event. The headset will not be revealed at the event, but it is expected to be released in the fourth quarter of this year or in the early months of 2023.
WatchOS 9 is rumoured to have additional health and activity tracking features, while iPadOS 16 is slated to include a revamped multitasking UI. What Apple has planned for macOS and tvOS releases remains to be seen. In the next months, we expect learn more about some of the new features coming to Apple's upcoming operating systems, which should help to clarify matters.
