With Categories, Time to Run, and more, Apple Fitness+ brings new methods to inspire individuals toward their goals

Apple Exercise+, the first fitness and health service built solely around Apple Watch and meant to be accessible to everyone, will launch Collections and Time to Run. Time to Run is an audio running experience that features prominent running routes in some of the world's most famous locations to help users become more consistent and better runners. Time to Run is an audio able to run feeling lets people to assist users become more constant and better contenders, featuring popular running routes in some of the world's most famous cities. Categories are a compiled sequence of workout sessions and meditations from the Fitness+ library organized to help users reach a goal.

Categories

Categories will be introduced by Fitness+, a selected collection of workouts and meditations from the Fitness+ library that will assist users achieve their goals. Collections will provide customers a whole new approach to become motivated as they begin their next workout or meditation by drawing from the nearly 2,000 studio-style workouts and guided meditations available in Fitness+. A suggested training plan will be included in each collection to assist users in making informed training decisions over the next several days or weeks.

At launch, the following six Collections will be available:

  • Core Challenge for 30 Days
  • Pilates Can Help You Improve Your Posture
  • Make Your Yoga Balance Perfect Poses
  • Your First 5K Run
  • Back and Hips Strengthening and Stretching
  • Stretch and relax to get a healthier night 's sleep

Time to Run

Running is one of the most popular hobbies since it can be done at any time and has benefits such as enhanced aerobic fitness, improved mood, and stress release. Time to Run on Fitness+ is a new audio running experience that focuses on a popular running route in some of the most famous and iconic locations to help users become more consistent and better runners.

The Fitness+ coaches construct playlists for the Time to Run episodes, which include inspiring and energizing music. The playlists are tailored to each run's intensity, location, and coaching, while also capturing the spirit of the city.

Time to Run joins a growing list of Fitness+ audio experiences that can be done anytime, anywhere – all users need is an Apple Watch and AirPods, or other Bluetooth-enabled headphones. Time to Run may be enjoyed outside or on a treadmill, and episodes will be available with a Fitness+ membership through the Workout app for Apple Watch. Time to Run becomes Time to Run or Push for Apple Watch users who use a wheelchair, and once selected, users can start a run or an Outdoor Push Running Pace workout.

Time to Walk

The third season of Time to Walk, an uplifting audio experience on Apple Watch aimed to encourage individuals to get more active by walking more regularly, will be released by Fitness+. Time to Walk offers some of the most intriguing and powerful people in the world, who share their experiences, images, and music with Fitness+ subscribers.

Season 3 will feature a number of new Time to Walk guests, including:

  • Bernice A. King, the Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change's advocate, preacher, and CEO.
  • Hasan Minhaj is an award-winning comedian, writer, and producer who is best known for his work on "The Daily Show" and his award-winning series "Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj."
  • Chris Meloni is best known for his work on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" on television.
  • Ay Tometi is a human rights activist, strategist, and writer best known for co-founding Black Lives Matter.
  • Chelsea Handler is a stand-up comedian and the author of six best-selling books. She is the former host of "The Chelsea Handler Show."
  • Sugar Ray Leonard is a former pro boxer, Olympic gold winner, and Hall of Famer.

Artist Spotlight

New workouts incorporating the music of Ed Sheeran, Pharrell Williams, Shakira, and the Beatles will be added to Fitness+'s popular Artist Spotlight series. An entire workout playlist is dedicated to a particular musician in the series. Every Monday over the following four weeks, new workouts with music by each of these musicians will be uploaded to the program in a variety of formats. Cycling, Dance, HIIT, Strength, Treadmill, and Yoga are some of the workout kinds available, with music genres like Chill Vibes, Everything Rock, Hip-Hop/R&B, Latin Grooves, and Upbeat Anthems.

Apple Music and Apple One subscribers can enjoy the Fitness+ Spotlight series, which includes a unique playlist for each Artist Spotlight musician, featuring motivating, high-energy tracks from their entire catalogues, as well as collaborations and remixes for motivation outside of their Fitness+ workouts, which is inspired by these Fitness+ workouts.
