Apple Inc. has recently hired a new engineer to gear up its software efforts for its HomePod smart speaker. The company aims to make its HomePod smart speakers a massive hit.
The iPhone-making company Apple has currently enlisted Afrooz Family to lead the HomePod smart speakers into a massive product. The family worked for Apple from 2012 to 2016 before launching their own audio startup Syng with the former Apple industrial designer Christopher Stringer. Afrooz family also left their startup after they helped the industrial engineer develop the company’s final product, “The Cell Alpha.”
Apple is currently focusing on bettering its competition with Amazon.com Inc. and Alphabet Inc.’s Google. Currently, Amazon’s Echo device is dominating the industry as it incorporates Alexa’s voice assistant. Users use the product to do things such as play music, answer questions, and set alarms.
