After the new iPhone 13 has been launched, people are looking forward to the next iPhone and what it brings. The reliable and trustworthy analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, a senior analyst, has answered the people’s queries and what they should expect in the iPhone 14. The senior analyst has predicted that the iPhone 14 will come with the finest punch-hole display in the iPhone 14 pro model and its other variant iPhone 14 pro Max.
Kuo, in a statement, said that the hardware selling points for the iPhones introduced in 2022 would encompass a 5G support and a more affordable 6.7″ iPhone. Along with this, two new high-end models will be equipped with a punch-hole display design, which will look more attractive than the latter phones.
This news confirms the past rumors predicted by both Kuo and the valid Apple news leaker Jon Prosser. If we talk about the past rumors, Kuo previously said that the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max would not be made public with the old design. Still, a new punch-hole display will be launched, which will share similarities with most Android phone variants.
The new iPhone 14 pro and pro max will be available in two distinct screen sizes. These screen sizes will be 6.1 and 6.7 inches long and allow the user to enjoy a more wide display. Kuo also said that only the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max would come with a new hole-punch design, meaning that the other models will be launched under the same old design.
Ming-Chi-Kuo iterated that the iPhone 14 Max, or whatever the company will call it, will be priced at under $900. If we compare it to the current models, recently launched by the company under the name of iPhone 13 Max, we clearly see that only the iPhone 13 Pro Max comes with a 6.7-inch model. It is currently being priced and sold at $1099.
Kuo also previously said that the iPhone 14 would add the support for under-display Touch ID. In the recent reports, he withdrew his claims and said that Apple had delayed his plans to launch their iPhones with under-display TOUCH ID to the second half of 2023. All of this is happening because of slower development and other setbacks.
If we talk about the 48 MP wide camera of the iPhone, it might be possible that the output images from the iPhone will be around 12 MP in resolution. Moreover, according to Kuo, Apple is looking forward to using the ‘four-cell merge output mode”, which is pretty standard in some Android devices. With all the news being shared about the upcoming iPhones, there is a feeling of joy among the general public. They are waiting impatiently for Apple to confirm all the rumors that have been spreading in the market related to the iPhones. On the other hand, people are looking forward to the leakers to update more about the leaks on the coming models of iPhones.
